#SNSBrunch Recap!

Updated: Feb 24, 2020

Where do I begin? The #SNSbrunch was above and beyond what I expected. I remember thinking about Self-Care Sunday one day and God giving me a clear vision to host an all female brunch. At first, I was skeptical because my bestie, Tangela Crawford was out of the country and I knew that I would have to wait until she came back to ask her about it hosting it at her shop (The Fab Lab Hair Salon). With that in mind, I only 3 weeks left to plan. Whew, it is a good thing that I am surrounded by a group of talented women. Once she said yes! I thought about decoration and food! Without a second thought, ShaRhonda of J & S Events by Design immediately came to mind for decor and I knew that my girl Tameka Wordlow had the food on lock! The only thing left for me to do was plan out the agenda.

Leading Up To The Event:

I was nervous and I had so much fear and anxiety. It's kind of crazy that I love helping people. I love being a resource to people. I absolutely love seeing people happy. With all of this I still rather be in my own shell. Sometimes it just seem safer there, right?. However; when God has given you a vision, I am true believer that He will give you all of the guidance and direction that you need to fulfill His purpose. With that being said I got to work!

Event Day:

I was super excited, nervous as well, but the excitement outweighed it by far! I knew that there would be a group of powerful and positive women who (like myself) needed a moment to reflect and engage in self-care. Women carry so much each day and we do it all with grace, poise, and determination. We definitely deserved this moment.

Therefore, it was It important that the every activities were meaningful from the activities, to the vendors, to the craft keepsake item. We are all a work in progress and need to sometimes be reminded to fill our cups and reflect on areas we desire to improve in.

Thank You!
